Sarabad racketed through the marketplace, pots and pans dangling from her body like ornaments. She snugged through the gab between Jojo’s Cheese stand and Margul’s Knives and snaked through the overflowing baskets outside Natin’s Freshest. Ducking beneath overhang of Fortice’s Flowers, greened with moss, she boggled into Gorblad, the very last person she wanted to see today — or any day for that matter. With a howl of outrage and a great scoop of his enormous paws Gorblad spooned her end over clattering end into a bin of Natin’s tomatoes.
